Remember what Easter is about

image

Praise the Lord, for on this day over 2,000 years ago, we were saved because he suffered and rose again.

Actually, a LOT of religious people side with compassionate points of view, and a LOT of atheists believe that addicts have only their-selves (or “themselves”? sorry, my grammar can be weak sometimes lol) to blame. Politically, I share more in common with Christian liberals than I do with atheistic conservatives. That being said, I suppose my adherence to logic and reason are consistent with atheism. Interesting issues.

p.s. Just because I said “Never happened,” I could have simply been another religion; e.g., many Hindus don’t believe in the resurrection, but they’re not atheists. Yes, you’re right that I’m an atheist, but there are millions of people who don’t believe the Christ story BUT are still religious in their own ways. Just a thought.

Hey, most “simple” country people are pretty smart! I could never survive out in the country, and I admire people who know the real skills to get along with their bare hands, the skills required to understand the Earth and its soil, the skills required to build houses and fix equipment. I know you’re married, so I will have to stop complimenting you so much and remind myself of where we disagree with each other! But in all seriousness, never stop writing.

      • Well thanks again, but im sure you could do the same. I lack a lot of the book smarts that I should have, but I am always excited to learn. And I just recently learned how to make primitive fire.

That’s very kind of you, but while you could learn book smarts, I’m afraid that the real-life skills you have might be too out of reach for me!

Not good at math, ok. I’m making a list of reasons why I am not attracted to you. So far I have: “She’s not good at math.” I need more!
