My poor boy

Poor D.J. has his first case of poison oak, i feel so sorry for him, he is covered with calamine lotion. I hope he doesnt react to it the way i did when i was young, i would get completely covered and my throat and eyes would swell shut. So i am keeping a very close eye on him, and i think he is starting to get annoyed with me, lol but i imagine he’ll get over it. If ya would just be praying for him or keep him in your thoughts and hopefully this will pass soon.

  7. Poor thing. If you haven’t seen….hope it comes in handy. He might be satisfied with the lotion but baking soda helps. It actually draws out toxins:

    • Great thanks so much, i never thought calamine did to good anyway, so when i saw it wasnt helping much i used some rubbing alcohol and medicated body powder and made a paste, which seems to really have helped the itching, but i want the stuff go away not just be calmed, so i will definitely check out the link you left me. Thanks again

      • I never found Calamine effective as a kid, which is why I shared the link.

Xxx Hang tight. It’s all a lot of work on Mom when the kiddos get sick.

  11. Oh DJ! So sorry! Let your mother take care of you! I have one child who lives on Benadryl, mosquito bites look like bee stings on him.
