Why Mommy ( Abortion )

fdsa 011My smile will never be seen, my laugh will never be heard, they called me a parasite this is absurd.
My mommy decided abortion was best, i wish i had a voice so i could protest.
If i did i would say mommy please dont let me go, this is my life and i want it so,
Please mommy dont take my life away, i like it here and i really wanna stay.
What have i done, and what can i do, its not my fault im inside you.
But a voice i do not have so soon i will die, how could you do this to me mommy please tell me why?

      • It may seem simple to you because you’ve made up your mind. It might seem simple to a pro-choice person because they’ve made up their mind. If it were simple, it still wouldn’t be so hotly debated.

Legally, it’s not complicated. It’s already been decided.

      • Your comparing abortion to the Nazi’s?

If it were so simple, as you say, then it wouldn’t be such a hotly contested issue. It would be cut and dry.

It’s also not just ‘people in power’ who say. It has been challenged in courts of law over and over again.

      • You’re certainly entitled to your opinion.

Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you view the outcome) it has been ruled on by the courts over and over again and isn’t likely to change anytime soon.

I do think that mothers who have undergone the procedure for a variety of reasons, might justifiably be upset by being compared to Hitler.

My intention is that if a woman is considering abortion and sees this post, that she may change her mind. So many people keep saying that they arent babies, and i want women to know the truth and completely understand the seriousness of this decision. Its not like getting rid of lice, when having an abortion you are literally murdering your own flesh and blood.

I think its a very personal decision that a woman makes on her own and without the government’s intrusion. I know that my approach to understanding this issue is far from your own, but at the end of the day the individual has to live with that decision, no anyone else.

  12. I couldn’t ever fathom getting an abortion. But, its not my decision to make. I was by my friends side every single day when she went through her abortion, which is probably one of the reasons I never got one. We ended up not talking for almost a year after everything was said and done because she was so depressed, and stayed with her abusive boy fried no matter what I said to her. I couldn’t watch her do that to herself. Finally one day she called me up and we hashed everything out. She apologized and acknowledged that I was right, and I apologized for not being more sensitive to what was going on her mind after the abortion. I miss her though. She moved and now we don’t talk. I regret not being there for her after the choices she made regarding partying, and her boy friend. But I don’t regret being by her side through her abortion because I was the only one there for her. Her boy friend wasn’t, her mom worked all the time, her boy friends parents were the ones who influenced her to get an abortion and they hated her with a passion.

But I just could never support that, anymore than I would support someone shooting another person. and saying I have my reasons, its the killing of an innocent person. However it is not my intention to put down people who have had an abortion in the past, because that wouldnt do any good, you cant change the past. I just want women to see and understand this is real life its not just this simple easy thing that makes no difference. Im trying to do my part to encourage women to do the right thing.

      • I agree with you. Abortion is such a messy topic because it involves that of an undeveloped life. That’s the confusing part. Some haven’t ever even had a heartbeat yet once the abortion has taken place, so is it really life before a heartbeat since a heartbeat is the essence of life? (hypothetical question). It’s so difficult. A fully developed, living, breathing child, who is conscious of what is happening, is much different than that of a cell with no heartbeat, ya know? There’s so much that makes it complicated. I have yet to decide where I stand on the subject because I can understand both sides to a certain extent. Both have very good points, thus why it’s a difficult subject. I used to be VERY pro-choice, but slowly started realizing the good points pro-lifers had and now I stand in the middle. Maybe more-so pro-choice because I still feel it’s wrong of me to force a woman to continue a pregnancy, but then again she could choose adoption, or other things. Even then though, that cluster of cells wouldn’t ever know they were going to be a human being, or anything of that extent because they had no thought, heartbeat, etc. till a certain point in a pregnancy. Then if you think of that way, a parent should be able to kill a child up until a certain age when they finally begin remembering things for the long term (which in my instance I only remember one thing fro preschool, and about 2 things from kindergarten, after that I remember mostly everything , but would it have been right of my parents to kill me before I went to preschool because I wouldn’t have remembered, known who I was, etc.? No, of course not. There’s a lot of comparisons one can make, and the list goes on and on. That’s why I’m on the fence now.

      • Well the way I see it if something has a heartbeat and you kill it its murder, a baby has a heartbeat about 4 weeks after conception. Now that doesnt mean I agree with abortion before that but if something has no heartbeat you cant really call it murder because it is not yet alive.

      • Mhm. Like I said, abortion is such a messy topic because of all the variables. Some don’t believe life is life until it’s able to live outside of the womb. So they believe abortion should be legal up until the point in which if you took the fetus out of the womb, it would be able to survive. But then does that mean, survive without machines to help? or survive like a full term birth where the child doesn’t need any medical assistance? or does that mean, in any way if it could survive? Everyone’s views are so different and people are so set in stone in what they believe plus our society is becoming so uncompromising in our nature that it makes it difficult to come to an agreement that both sides are alright with.

      • The question people need to ask is simple is it better for a baby to have life or meet death. It gets complicated when you add in everything else, also people celebrate the birth of a child but I j ave never heard of people celebrating an abortion, that says a lot right there.

      • I suppose you have a point. but is it wrong to end the growth of cells that don’t have a heartbeat? or can not live? It’s easy to look at things with simplicity. But in reality it’s not simple. If things were simple the world would be much better than it is, because things would be so clear as to how they should be. If things were simple, kids wouldn’t be homeless, and hungry, or in orphanages. Parents wouldn’t have to be single and do everything on their own without the support of the other parent. Everyone would have unbiased, and affordable healthcare. People would be honest, and treat others with respect. There wouldn’t be drug addicts, and prisoners. There’s nothing simple when it comes to humans.

  14. When I was pregnant and still working, there was a conversation about abortions and the different circumstances that lead women to deciding to get one. I stated that I wouldn’t be able to get an abortion and that I wouldn’t be able to live with myself. and this guy asked me “well what if you were raped and you had to have the baby even though it reminded you each and every day of being raped?” and I told him that even if I got raped and ended up pregnant from that, I would in fact keep the baby. Just because it would of been conceived under horrible circumstances, I wouldn’t look at the baby as a reminder of a horrible event but the only positive thing that happened from it. to me it wouldn’t be the babies fault that I got raped but at least i would have an innocent, beautiful baby to love and be strong for even though something terrible happened to me. and he was like “wow i never even thought of looking at it that way.

I have a few friends who have gotten abortions and I try not to judge them because its their life and even though I wouldnt take the same route as them they know how i feel about it.

  15. It was the darkest day in the history of our country when abortion was legalized. Murder is murder no matter how much we try to paint a lesser picture. A life is a life at conception and the killing of a life is considered murder for whatever reason. Those who try to tell you something different are being dishonest. The mother of an aborted child is emotinally affected for life so no one wins in the end.

  20. This breaks my heart so much. I hate to think of all those innocent lives lost. They didn’t ask to be conceived, but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to be loved. Heartbreaking, so so heartbreaking, but someone has given a voice to the “clump of cells” so many think aren’t actually alive. It’s funny how scientists will sit there and call a single cell organism “life” but a baby at conception isn’t life???? Please tell me how that makes sense. Life begins at the moment of conception. Give that life a chance. You never know who that baby, Yes, BABY, could grow up to be.
Thank you for giving the innocent a voice.

Ya know there are things that have happened throughout history that when we think of it, we wonder how could people have ever been that barbaric, and one day others will look back and ask the same thing about us and how we could have thought murdering a baby was okay.

      • That’s exactly why they dehumanize the baby by calling it a fetus. “It’s not a baby, it’s a fetus/zygote/clump of cells” and that somehow makes it ok, even though it has a heartbeat and brain activity. It’s so they can feel less guilty about the murder they’re about to do or have done.

Opinions are one thing and actions to support your opinions are another thing. If you wish to end abortions then take actions to provide the unwanted children a family with healthcare.
