Question of the day what is your favorite scary movie? Mine is 28 weeks later, I think it is the scariest form of zombie that has been created and it is also possible that it could actually happen which makes it even more scary!

      • The Lovecraft movies are also pretty brutal. Dagon, reanimator, from beyond.

    • The shining is very creepy, I love Jack Nicholson but I am not a fan of the possession type movies, the shining isn’t to bad but I won’t watch the exorcist or anything like that in my house!

  3. The scariest movies are the ones that could actually happen, especially when the threat is largely unknown and you just get glimpses and sudden flashes of it. I thought horror movies had lost their power to scare me – so many of them are overfilled with special effects and gore – but I recently watched The Banshee Chapter and it scared the c**p out of me!

      • It’s kind of hard to describe. Basically it’s about people experimenting with DMT and encountering hostile entities from another dimension. The drug turns the human brain into a receiver, allowing the entities to make contact via a phantom radio station. Having connected, the entities come and take over the person’s body. A lot of the footage is taken on a cellphone, giving it a realistic feel. We never find out what or who the entities are, we just get glimpses and flashes of shadowy figures and horrid white faces with black eyes. If you don’t like possession movies it’s probably one to avoid – I just love to have the crap scared out of me.
BTW, thanks for letting me say that word – I always feel better when I’ve offloaded a good crap! 😉
