Zombie Food

Okay so i have gotten a few requests for pictures of zombie food, it seems most people are not obsessed with zombies like i am, and they have no idea what that even means. So i thought i would go ahead and post them today, these foods are great for Halloween parties or if your like me just a boring weekday. I also included a few of my favorite zombie pics, just cause i like em. I could totally be on an episode of the walking dead, lol. Oh and the makeup is really easy to do and very cheap, So if anybody wants to know how i do it, or wants one of these recipes just drop a comment and ask.

Chocolate Cherry Mice

20141221_170838-1I am going to give you my recipe for the cutest little snack in the world, chocolate cherry mice.
Here is what you will need 20141221_171310-1 maraschino cherries with the stem, quick and easy chocolate bark, sliced almonds, Hershey kisses, and some wax paper. First you need to set your cherries on a paper towel so that they will dry or the chocolate will not stick to them. Unwrap as many Hershey kisses as you will need and set them aside as well. Then you melt your chocolate bark in the microwave only for about 15 seconds at a time then stir and return to microwave for another 15 seconds, repeat until it is all the way melted. When that is done you dip your cherry in the chocolate grab a Hershey kiss and put it on the cherry like this20141221_162814, sit on wax paper to dry, then cut your almonds in halves and dip them slightly in chocolate so they will stick and attach, use a toothpick and dot on 2 little eyes, it should look like these when you are done.20141221_170943 And thats it, pretty simple to make, kids and adults love them, and they are yummy.

The hubby and my dad tried them but I said no way, the inside looked like duck poop and smelled worse.

Seriously the nastiest thing I have ever smelled or seen someone eat.
Talk about bizarre foods.


My Butterfinger cake is yummolicious

20140605_112007 The most popular dessert i make is my special butterfinger cake, people always request it for special occasions, and its pretty simple to make so i thought i would share it with yawl. Just dont tell anybody my recipe, lol. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family and friends do.

You will need

1 box of triple chocolate fudge cake mix

1 20 ounce bottle of caramel syrup

3 large eggs

1/2 a cup vegetable oil

1 1/4 cups water

1 11.5 ounce bag of fun size butterfingers

The first thing you need to do is prepare your cake mix, im not gonna explain all that cause the directions are on the back of the box so.. anyway after that is all mixed together you will need to smash up 5 butterfinger bars and add them to the mix, (to smash up your butterfingers the best thing to use is a potato masher) then put in the oven and bake on 350 for 20 – 30 minutes depending on your oven. When cake is done allow it to cool for about 45 minutes before topping is added. While your cake is cooling smash up about 15 butterfingers and set aside. Once your cake has cooled pour your caramel in a zig zag pattern on your cake like this.20140605_110758 Then apply some of your butterfinger crumbs, make sure you cover all of the caramel like this. 20140605_111215 After that just repeat the zig zag pattern with caramel, then coat with butterfinger again, then one more coat of caramel. This is what it should like like when done. 20140605_111811. Then just cut you a big ole piece of awesomeness and enjoy.


The Best Stuffed Peppers Ever

20140420_194842 I absolutely love stuffed peppers but not the kind you are thinking of im sure, my family has a special recipe for stuffed peppers, i have never seen or heard of anyone else making them this way, but everyone who has ever tried em loves em and says they just cant go back to making them the way that they used to. okay here’s what your gonna need.

6 medium or large green belle peppers
1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
1 medium or large onion
1 1/2 sleeves of saltine crackers
1 can diced tomatoes
half a teaspoon of salt and pepper
and about a half a cup of mayonnaise

first fry up your ground beef, when done pour off excess grease and put your meat in a large bowl to cool, allow to cool in fridge for about 20 minutes, while that is cooling cut your peppers in halves and remove seeds, smash up your crackers semi fine you don’t want cracker dust but also don’t want huge chunks of crackers, drain tomatoes very well, and chop up your onion pretty fine as well. when your hamburger has cooled down enough add all of your other ingredients in with it. Now here is the fun part, you have to squeeze all of your ingredients together. If you are afraid of gettin dirty i don’t recommend this recipe. Put both hands in and squeeze and mix everything for at least a good 5 minutes. then start scooping it into your peppers until they are almost overflowing. Refrigerate for an hour and enjoy. This is one of my favorite recipes, they are delicious and even my very picky little ones love em. Thanks to my grandmother who created this recipe, if you were still with us i would make you a big batch of em.
