Soul Mates

I used to think that the whole idea of soul mates was just stupid, but considering everything my husband and i have been through, overcame, and how we met each other at exactly the right moment, i am thinking maybe i was wrong.  We found each other almost 14 years ago, right when he needed an extra push to beat a serious cocaine addiction, he found me someone against drugs, in an apartment full of drug addicts, and later on He helped me overcome my addictions, where i lack he exceeds and vice versa . Seperate we are incomplete and lacking in many areas, but together we work wonderfully, and it seems that It all just  fits to perfectly to  simply be coincidence .  Do you believe in soul mates? Do you think that there is one perfect person for everyone?  Let me know what you think.

I do believe in soul mate’s. I’m so happy that you and your husband are blessed in so many ways. I also believe that God puts people in our lives at the EXACT moment they are needed. Angels are everywhere. Seek and you shall find. 🙂
    God Bless

I love the sheriff picture, with Barney and your husband in jail. 🙂

I definitely believe in soul mates, but I feel that there might be more than one in different ways, you know? That is so awesome to hear when someone is truly in love with their mate, go you ❤

  3. I didn’t believe until I met my husband. There is a 16 year difference but we like the same music, food, colors, books, movies, (on and on), and we don’t fight…like ever (knock on wood). He makes me want to be the best version of myself but loves me the way I am – yep, that’s makes my soul happy! I’m glad you found your soul – it just makes everything better, doesn’t it?

At first, I thought Diana was referring to Barney in the background (I can be dense like that!).
Original point, I believe in soul mates. God sends a person to you to help you out. God sent someone to me awhile back, but it didn’t work out…. I KNOW, however, that it was destined that we should meet. He helped me to realize that Christ is personal and loves me. Andrew helped me to see the beauty in life ❤
Though it does not seem like he is my soul mate, I know that there are soul mates. I've met a couple that were made for each other 🙂

  6. I love this post. I totally believe in soul mates. I believe in the goodness of God reflected in other people, too, so that husbands/wives can be a bit like earthly angels, purposely put in our path to show us the beauty in our ashes. Love is a fascinating thing, and often opposites seem to attract, almost as if our broken parts are designed to knit themselves together and create something magical.
What can I say, I’m hopelessly romantic. 🙂

  7. Hey Diana!! Yep, I firmly believe in soul mates, I found mine back in 1988 and was blessed to be able to spend 13 wonderful years with her before God decided He needed His angel back in heaven. Before she went home she gave me a wonderful, handsome son that I am extremely proud of. As for another soul mate, well, no one can or ever will take her place in my heart or life and I’m still to this day debating that question.

However, I am so very happy for you that you found yours and that y’all are truly happy and make each other complete, there is no better feeling in this world than to look at someone and KNOW they are truly your other half.

Speakin’ of Mayberry, I actually used to live there, it’s a quaint, beautiful little town. In fact, where I lived was only about a half mile from where Aunt B really lived.

Oh well, I’ve rambled on enough, I’ve missed talkin’ to you and so happy to see that you’re still bloggin’ away 🙂 Have a very Merry Christmas!!!!

  8. Do I believe in soulmates, only time can tell that. But I have always felt this connection with him like even when I am dead asleep I open my eyes if he is disturbed or not getting sleep and that also when he doesn’t make any noise. Besides I can see right through him so much so that he can never lie to not that he does but I know. And during our courtship most of the days we ended up wearing the same coloured clothes. Strong vibes I guess 🙂
